Super Meat Boy is an awesome game, and one of the hardest platformers I’ve ever played. So naturally, I had to 100% it. I had completed every level with A+, and I had 100 percented every chapter but one. Embarrassingly, that one chapter was the forest. Go on, mock me.

What are bandages and what do they do?
So what you may be wondering is what are bandages? Well in Super Meat Boy hidden inside the first five worlds are collectable bandages. When enough are obtained new characters are unlocked that you are able to use. Some of these characters have unique abilities such as a double jump, mid air glide or being able to destroy parts of a level. There are 20 bandages in each of the first five worlds. They are usually placed in parts of the levels that are out of the way to the point where you will probably die many times trying to reach them.
